Gite Vendee is the perfect self catering holiday gite for the couple wanting to experience the peace, tranquillity and sunshine of the Vendee region of France. It is a delightfully renovated single storey gite set in its own private garden.

The interior of the gite has been designed to create a comfortable, spacious open-plan living area with separate double bedroom and bathroom.

Gite Vendee has been furnished and equipped to a high standard in order to provide a comfortable, relaxing and homely atmosphere.

The original oak beams of the gite have been retained and the thick stone walls and fully tiled floor help maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven and kettle.

The bathroom is equipped with a large shower, basin and toilet.

All bed linen and towels (except beach and pool towels) are provided.

We are happy to accommodate couples with a young baby and a travel cot with bedding can be provided.

The gite has an attractive open stone fireplace. A portable gas heater provides warmth during the cooler months.

A mini-hifi with a selection of CDs, as well as a good supply of books and games are provided.

There are also local maps and tourist information guides.

Garden furniture and barbecue are provided for alfresco dining.

Feel free to stroll around the large gardens and delight in the wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. If the Vendee sun gets too hot, cool down by taking a refreshing dip in our pool. Escape to the orchard with a favourite book and nestle in a deck-chair under the shade of the apple, peach, pear and plum trees.

Gite Vendee is set in the beautiful surroundings of the rolling Vendee countryside close to the charming village of Thouarsais-Bouildroux. It provides a truly peaceful location for those who wish to get away from it all, yet, is ideally situated for all tourist attractions and local services and there is easy access from the A83 motorway.
